Demo-Reel-Instructions

From MusicTechWiki

Overview

A demo reel (AKA demo tape, demo disc, show reel, etc) is a video or audio presentation designed to showcase your talents to a potential employer. The idea is that the employer can see and hear what you are capable of based on the examples you have supplied. Keep in mind that potential employers (clients and artists) are very busy so your demo reel should start with your strongest material and be a short as possible. You can always send them to your full portfolio on your website, or Spotify Playlist if they want to hear more.

If you have never created a demo reel before, no worries. We all need to start somewhere and our demo reel will be a constant, never ending work in progress.
