This is a Pro Tools session created/improvised by students, live in on-campus classes. In fact, every track was created by different students, in different classes, at a different times, over several years. Most of them never even met each other and just jammed (improvised) over what other students did. We recorded everything live in our Pro Tools classes. Some of the 'students' are actually successful recording artists and performing artists. For example, the sax was performed by John Lee Sanders who just happened to bring his sax. The percussion tracks were created by Andrew Diamond using the grid editing techniques discussed in this lesson module. Andrew created all of the beats with a few samples and the Grabber tool. Please open the Digeridoo Groove Session and review the grid mode editing techniques that went into programing the beats.
