Image Formatting
- go with 1920x1080, transcode down to 720p for Internet video
- Images/Photos:
- Edit in Photoshop or Apple Preview
- scale down to 1024px in length a/o width,
- save as PNG or JPG, run through ImageOptim (free) to reduce file size
- then import into Keynote.
- Do NOT reduce file size in Keynote. Keep the original Photoshop files separately...
- Diagrams:
- Use Omnigraffle Pro for detailed diagrams.
- Keynote, if diagram needs animation.
- Illustrator typically is overkill.
- OmniGraffle can export both bitmap and vector-based.
