Bio

Philip B. Rose came from humble beginnings. As a homeless youth during highschool he failed to graduate from highschool after attending at least 7 highschools in 3 years. Through perseverance and determination, Mr. Rose rejoined academia, at the age of 23, through various California community college programs, and earned an associates of science degree in mathematics, in or around, 2002. In 2006, Phillip B. Rose earned his undergraduate degree in Computational Mathematics with Minors in Computer Engineering and Legal Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Thereafter Mr. Rose attended Lincoln Law School of San Jose where he earned many awards and accommodations including awards for academic excellence in Business Organizations, Criminal Law, Personal Property, Constitutional Law, and Moot Court-Best Written Brief. In addition Mr. Rose earned awards for his participation as a staff editor on the Lincoln Law Review and held the position of Assistant Editor in Chief. During his time at Lincoln, Mr. Rose authored two (2) Law Review Articles in the Field of Second Amendment Constitutional Law. Mr. Rose graduated from Lincoln Law School, second in his class, in 2010. In 2014 Mr. Rose was awarded the prestigious “Susan O Fish Award” from Lincoln Law School of San Jose in recognition of his service to the Lincoln Law School community.

In May of 2015 Mr. Rose was presented with an “Honorary Doctor of Laws” degree from Lincoln Law School in recognition for “extraordinary service to humanity” arising from his services to the greater community of San Jose and surrounding areas. Mr. Rose is actively involved in the Silicon Valley legal community beyond working as an attorney, at PBR LEGAL, the firm he founded in 2012. He has assisted as a Faculty professor at Lincoln Law School of San Jose, teaching the landlord tenant class. In addition Mr. Rose has participated as an attorney mentor for youth participating in the San Jose Peer Court program and is a Senior fellow of the Smith Renaissance Society at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Mr. Rose is passionate about art and music and started a record label, PBR-Entertainment, in 2020 and is actively involved in producing multiple americana music acts and is working on increasing his proficiency in music production.
