Search the wiki using the OpenSearch protocol.

Parameters:
search

Search string.

This parameter is required.
namespace

Namespaces to search. Ignored if search begins with a valid namespace prefix.

Values (separate with | or alternative): 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 100, 101, 102, 103, 106, 107, 108, 109, 112, 113, 114, 115, 274, 275, 460, 461, 500, 501, 502, 503, 1000, 1001, 2300, 2301, 2302, 2303, 2996, 2997, 3030, 3031, 3032, 3033, 3100, 3101, 3102, 3103, 3104, 3105, 3106, 3107, 3108, 3109, 3110, 3111, 3112, 3113, 3114, 3115, 3116, 3117, 3118, 3119, 3120, 3121, 3122, 3123, 3500, 3501
Maximum number of values is 50 (500 for bots).
To specify all values, use *.
Default: 0
limit

Maximum number of results to return.

No more than 500 (5,000 for bots) allowed.
Type: integer or max
Default: 10
suggest

Do nothing if $wgEnableOpenSearchSuggest is false.

redirects

How to handle redirects:

return
Return the redirect itself.
resolve
Return the target page. May return fewer than limit results.

For historical reasons, the default is "return" for format=json and "resolve" for other formats.

The format of the output.

Default: json
warningsaserror

If warnings are raised with format=json, return an API error instead of ignoring them.
