Manual Drum Replacement with Audio Clips

The first step is to become proficient manually editing audio files and audio clips to replace or augment drums tracks. Most important are:

  1. Kick
  2. Snare
  3. Toms

We rarely trigger cymbals or hi hats.

You should know how to:

  1. Manually create a MIDI note based on an audio clip drum hit.
  2. Route that MIDI note to a virtual instrument to create a new drum sound.
